Kapmetis has experience integrating benchtop hardware in a real world prototype or development system. We have capabilities for in house design of:
- Electronics – We can design custom Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) or help you find off the shelf items that can perform the task at hand.
- Firmware – Custom firmware can be implemented to perform fast or low-level work inside a microcontroller or FPGA.
- Software – Interface with all your various electronics devices as well as your user. Let custom software get you away from manually coordinating different vendor softwares and into a setup where data is acquired or operations are performed in a coordinated fashion, automatically.
- Hardware – Moving items from a stationary tabletop to a smaller unit that must hold everything in place can take detailed design. We can help package your instrument.

Applications
Kapmetis has particular experience creating and integrating lab-based or portable spectroscopic systems. Whether LIBS or SIBS emission spectroscopy, TDL type absorption spectroscopy, or various other light-sensing applications, we’ve been there. We have particular experience working with Avantes spectrometers as well.
